Janaina Perrit, from France, is on holiday with her boyfriend. The 20-year-old, who works in marketing for a perfume company, is wearing a snakeskin-print top from a little boutique in Paris, beige trousers from another boutique in Canada, black sneakers from France and some William Morris glasses. Accessorising with a Minelli bag and a wide-brimmed hat that she has just picked up from Camden market, Janaina said that her style is all about “improvisation”.

Jess Heritage, 20, from Yorkshire, is wearing some fabulous floaty trousers from “somewhere in Barcelona”, with a black crop top from H&M and some Doc Martens from a shop in Camden Town. As for her eclectic selection of jewellery, it comes from “wardrobes, hand-me downs and various jewellery boxes”. Jess, who studies fine art at Central St Martins, is enjoying a wander around the shops in the sunshine in her relaxed, “hippyish” outfit. The arty student's ultimate style tip is just “tassels and glitter” all the way.

Florence Evans, 20, from Ireland, is wearing Topshop from head-to-toe, except for her green bag from Accessorize and the little flower headband that she picked up in Camden market. Florence, who works at Lock 17, is dressed in a leather jacket, a multicoloured, floral-print dress and nude pumps. With her bright red hair, and even brighter red lipstick, it doesn't come as a surprise that she is a “fan of colour”. She said that when it comes to style, “don’t go with what’s popular, go with what you like”.

Mark Romano is working as a street promoter for a shop in Camden. The 22-year-old who is originally from Italy but currently living in Bermondsey, said he makes a lot of his clothes himself, for example his “DIY” sleeveless jacket which he has sewn patches and attached studs onto. He explains that his clothes comes from all over Europe, and today he definitely stands out in his bright pink tartan trousers and chunky boots that were “a bargain” hunted down on the internet. He is sporting lots of quirky accessories, including a silver twisted bracelet, a purple bandana, yellow shades and a cap which is covering a head full of blue hair.

Alessandro Contardi, who works as a hairdresser in Chalk Farm Road is dressed head-to-toe in black and silver. The 33-year-old said he gets most of his clothes from all over Camden – his trousers, for instance, are from the Stables market, and his bullet belt is from a shop in Camden High Street. Alessandro, who lives in Finsbury Park, is also wearing a black top from H&M, a leather sleeveless vest, shades and lots of metal accessories.

Jen Boardman is with a group of friends celebrating her 31st birthday with an evening out at Zoo Lates. The nurse from Streatham has chosen a patterned, floor-length dress from Pepe Jeans, accessorised with a little black belt for her birthday outfit. She has paired it with some little gold sandals, a bangle and a bag from Ollie & Nic for an easy-going style that's perfectly fitting for a hot summer's day.
